NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has alleged that his life is under threat, claiming the current administration is deliberately frustrating him and making it difficult for him to carry out his daily activities.
"With the way this government is going, I may not even be alive to contest the 2027 election. Every single thing I do for a living, this government is deliberately frustrating. I face frustration every day," he said.
Obi alleged that he is routinely singled out by government officials, citing a recent incident at an airport where he claimed his vehicle was locked while other cars parked in the same area were left untouched.
"They recently locked my car at the airport. I looked around and saw other cars parked there, yet mine was singled out. It is this kind of treatment I face regularly," he alleged.
The former Anambra State governor maintained that the alleged intimidation is part of a broader pattern targeting opposition figures.
Despite the challenges, Obi said he remains committed to his vision of building a more united and compassionate Nigeria.
"We have divided the country, building hatred among ourselves. That's why I keep saying I want to bring back unity where there's division. I want to show love, compassion and care," he said.
